Cat behind the waterheater?

Yeah, the Subject ain't no joke. Here comes the story...

My mum came crashing in my door this morning as I didn't hear the alarm ring and I had to get up. So, I staggered out and down to the bathroom and I was just about to put on my socks, when I heard my mum call for help from me. I ran barefoot downstairs into the basement, where my mum stood and cleared out all the clutter around the waterheater! "Okaaaay" I thought before I heard the most heartbreaking sound from my cat, who was trapped in the tiny space behind the damn waterheater! Apparently, she had jumped up there from the freezer, to check out what was up there (damn curiosity) and she slipped and fell straight down behind it! Face first. Well done kitty...

Anyway, she had probably been behind there for an hour before we found her, and when we finally got her dragged out, she was pretty terrified and she was absolutely exhausted with fatigue from being behind there! She almost instantly collapsed and just lied there on the floor. So we got her upstairs and got her some food and some water, happily she didn't hurt herself too bad, maybe a little sore but nothing serious.

What an exciting morning, eh?...

Hah, no. Just very curious. She's actually a clever cat! And besides, the waterheater has a curved top and is quite slippery.

poor kitty, at least you was able to get her out or you would have had to call the fire brigade, hope she all right now though, they do tend to get themselves into sticky places but they are funny, mine chases her tail round and round then stop an is all big eyed an if you look her head looks like it still spinning
