Well, a long coming submission. My biggest image yet, ever. Lot's of different things in this image which was a challenge and I went through a whole bunch of ideas before settling for this one.

It's inspired by and his amazing war and soldier art. So give him some love!
Also thanks to for all the help! You've really helped me improve my image and show me some fresh ideas!
And thanks to all my other friends, I really appreciate it!


So, about the image itself.
The soldier, gun, helmet, sky, ground, car is painted from scratch with references of course.
And I used a lot of free textures for well, everything to get more realism and a rugged effect. The background building is a royalty free image that I have modified a lot.

It is kinda an post-apocalyptic scene, I won't really tell much here as I want you to kinda imagine it yourself as it's more fun that way!
You really need to look in the image a bit to get some clues of what's happened.

This image has been a lot of fun, but also very challenging and demanding for me.
